July 10–Near Beluga Point to Homer with beach surprises

Turns out we are right across the road from a spot where people come to fill water jugs.  There was a hole drilled in the rock with a pipe coming out.  Not sure I’d want to drink it.  Unfortunately, I got side tracked and no photos.
I looked out the window this morning, across Turnagain Arm and there was a mountain!  Got out the Atlas to see which one….Mt. McKinley!  Yes, you can see it from 150 miles away and further – had to research that to make sure!

We stopped at Bird Point.  Afraid this will be the only Beluga whale we see.
